Your time machine brings you to a universe where the order of the Dragon Ball timelines are collapsed. Now it is your duty to face your powerful opponents on the battlefield and bring order back to this universe.
The gameplay of Dokkan Battle is pretty simple. You don't have to directly battle against your opponents. You battle by playing puzzles. There will be a number of Ki orbs of different colors between you and your opponent. Select all the Ki orbs of a same color to attack. By collecting more Ki orbs, you can create supper attacks. The super attacks you create will be different for each character you choose to play for you.
When you match similar colored Ki orbs in a "Z" shape 7 times, you will unlock "Dokkan Mode". In this mode, your character can create a super attack.... A supper attack has more power than your usual attack.
Just one character is not enough to bring order to this universe. You need to create your own Dragon Ball Team to play against opponents. You can upgrade the powers of each of your characters by training them.
