Rummy is a popular card game where the goal is to form matching sets or sequences from one’s hand. The game can be played with 2 to 6 players. It uses a standard 52-card deck. Players aim to meld all their cards into sets of three or four cards of the same rank, or runs of three or more cards in sequence of the same suit.
Take turns drawing from the draw or discard pile, then discard one card. Meld sets or runs on the table, or add to existing ones. If you draw from the discard pile, you can’t discard that card in the same turn.
The game ends when a player is able to meld all cards and discard the last one. Other players score points based on the remaining cards in hand—face cards are 10 points, aces 1, and numbered cards their face value. The lowest score wins.
